Are we living in the last days? Is Jesus coming soon? Well, yes. But we shouldn’t think that He’s coming because there’s a plague. He’s coming because He SAID He’s coming. These might not the Last Days because there’s a virus, they ARE – because He SAID He’s coming soon. Don’t fear that you’re being punished, He loves you. He’s coming to save you.

Why Do Plagues Happen? (Lectionary Monday)

Plague and sickness can drive us from our sins and put things in proper perspective. In the OT, God sent plagues to save His people from slavery. In the NT, God crucified His Son to save you from sin, death, and the devil. All that God does, He does to save His people. If you start with Christ, everything that happens might be seen as ultimately good, too, by faith.
