Did Jesus Actually Rise from the Dead? (What’s UP Wednesday)

The evidence is pretty compelling, if you actually look at it. Christians have good reason to believe Jesus rose from the dead. Our religion is not crazy! The Bible records at least a dozen times witnesses saw Jesus again. And most of those people died horribly, confessing that belief. If Christ rose, then everything He said was true! Your sins have been forgiven.

Did Jesus Actually Die? (Bad Theology Tuesday)

A lot of people don’t believe that Jesus actually died. But all of the witness accounts — all of them — confess that He was dead. He was so dead, the soldiers pierced His side with a spear and blood and water flowed out. Everyone who was there bore witness to Jesus actually dying on the cross that day. To say otherwise is just absurd.

The Lord’s Supper and the Cross (What’s UP? Wednesday)

The cross is where your salvation was won. The Supper is where your salvation is delivered. The sacrament delivers the cross to you. The remembrance of the Supper is not that you remember the cross but, that in the delivery of the Body and Blood of Jesus, God remembers the cross. We need God to deal with us in the suffering and death of His Son for us.
