In the 26th episode of Higher Things Radio and the first ever Lenten episode Pastor Borghardt opens with a sort of ashey monologue. Reminiscent of Pastor Borghardt’s Ash Wednesday Sermon, he’ll point us to Christ crucified and suggest that this Lent you give up your sins, fast from your sinful nature and give them up to the Cross where Jesus will answer for them on Good Friday. Oh and fasting isn’t so bad either… Lastly, Pastor Borghardt will interview The Rev. David Kind of University Lutheran Chapel and a member of the Board of Directors of Higher Things on Ash Wednesday.
